The instrument
LC Invest — Value Edge ETI is a discretionary Exchange Traded Instrument (ETI) — a listed certificate whose composition is actively managed rather than index-tracking.
Exposure is primarily to gold (XAUUSD) and, secondarily, to the major currency pairs: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY.
Risk is fixed at 1%–1.5% of capital per position, with a mandatory stop order on every trade.
The method
Three confirmations must line up before any position is opened: institutional order flow (Smart Money Concepts — liquidity sweeps, order blocks, breaks of structure), price confirmation (Price Action), and a supportive macroeconomic context (FOMC, CPI, NFP, PMI).
Where they do not converge, no position is taken. Hence a deliberately limited trading frequency.
Trade only when the institutional footprint, the price and the macroeconomic context all point the same way.

These figures are those of Luca Cunin’s personal trading account in 2025. They are not the ETI’s: the instrument had not been launched over that period.

Any backtested data is hypothetical, calculated retroactively and unaudited: it is subject to look-ahead bias and to the risk of over-optimisation.
Past performance is not a guide to future performance. Your capital is at risk and you may lose all or part of the sums invested.

Risks
- Market and leverage risk: volatility in gold and currencies can amplify losses.
- Concentration risk: the investment universe is narrow; a sustained adverse move would cause a significant loss.
- Discretionary and key-person risk: the strategy rests on the human judgement of its developer.
- Past-performance risk: the 2025 figures relate to a personal account, not to the ETI, and backtests are unaudited.
- Liquidity risk: spreads may widen in abnormal market conditions, despite market-making.
- Currency risk: the instrument is denominated in euros while positions are held in dollars.
- Counterparty and operational risk: reliance on the issuer, the broker and other service providers.
- Regulatory risk: legal or tax changes may adversely affect the structure and returns.
High-risk product. You may lose all or part of the capital invested. Past performance is not a guide to future performance.
